East Africa Safari Tours

Sun Summit & Safaris runs safari tours across East Africa—Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and Rwanda. Our primary focus is the East African safari circuit: Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Amboseli, Samburu, Bwindi (for gorilla trekking), and Queen Elizabeth National Park. Most trips start in Nairobi. We handle all logistics: accommodations, park fees, meals, cross-border permits, and guiding.

Our guides are local to each destination. Kenyan guides handle Kenya trips. Tanzanian guides handle Tanzania. Ugandan guides handle Uganda. Each team knows their parks, their wildlife patterns, and their local communities.

South Africa Safaris

We also operate safaris in South Africa—Kruger National Park, private game reserves in the Greater Kruger area, and Cape Town extensions. South Africa offers excellent Big Five viewing, malaria-free options, and well-developed tourism infrastructure. Combine a South African safari with a Cape Town visit or a Garden Route drive.

South Africa works well as a standalone destination or as an extension to an East African trip. Fly from Nairobi to Johannesburg and continue your safari in a different ecosystem.

Mount Kenya and Kilimanjaro Treks

We guide treks to Point Lenana (4,985m) on Mount Kenya and to the summit of Kilimanjaro (5,895m). Mount Kenya is Africa's second-highest peak; the Lenana summit doesn't require technical climbing—just fitness and acclimatization. Kilimanjaro is the highest and offers multiple routes with varying difficulty.

Our treks include porters, mountain guides, camping equipment, park fees, and meals. We also run day hikes and shorter treks for travelers who want something less demanding.

How Booking Works

All prices are in US dollars. The quoted price includes park entrance fees, accommodation, meals (full-board), transport in a private safari vehicle, and guide services. International flights, visas, and travel insurance are not included.
